The Raytek line brings together our most specific technical projects, which combine colors and additives designed to act synergistically in response to peculiar and complex technical needs. Each Raytek product is a highly specialized solution, designed to offer targeted and excellent performance.

Litescreen
Highly perishable products, such as food, cosmetics and medicines, need daily protection. Well-designed packaging, while essential, is not enough on its own: the light that filters through the container, penetrating the contents, is extremely harmful and can destroy the properties of the substances with disastrous effects.
How to effectively protect products from UV damage? Our solution is the Litescreen line, specially designed to interfere with light waves of the visible and ultraviolet spectrum, so as not to let harmful radiation filter through. By exploiting advanced color technologies, it is possible to obtain complete protection from UV rays, effectively defending the precious contents inside the packaging with a single layer of plastic.
Litescreen colors are designed to deflect light waves, acting just like a defensive shield against light; precisely for this reason they are mainly used in the food, cosmetic and medical packaging sectors. It is crucial, however, not to confuse these masterbatches with simple anti-UV additives, which protect the plastic itself from deterioration, but do not offer a direct shield for the internal contents.

Dimensional control and stability for plastics
How to manage plastic deformation? The choice of dyes and additives significantly determines the shrinkage and potential distortion of the plastic after exposure to heat, during production phase. If, during the cooling of the part, the shrinkage is uneven, it can cause drastic deformation, making it impossible to join with other components of the product or altering the desired aesthetics.
Our Shelligent masterbatches include low-warping additives for plastics, called nucleating agents, specifically formulated to control the dimensional stability of products. These products combine the pigments that best combine with these process additives, useful for avoiding distortion and the formation of cracks on the surface of the plastic during processing, especially due to temperature changes, improving its performance in a synergistic pigment-additive action.
Shelligent masterbatches are designed to reduce the side effects of certain coloring on semi-crystalline plastics, reducing warping and ensuring consistency in part sizes. They are particularly useful in those industries where the precise dimensions of a product are critical in terms of functionality, such as for bottle caps or airtight closures.

One Pack
Everything you need, concentrated in a single masterbatch granule. With One Pack, the necessary elements are compressed together into one super-concentrated, super-functional product, offering unprecedented convenience. Here, the incorporated additives can work in perfect synergy with the dyes contained inside, ensuring optimal performance. Variants of the same color can also be obtained with different additive packages, offering flexibility and customization.
Thanks to One Pack, it will no longer be necessary to weigh color and additive separately to add them to the mixture: we at Gaypa have already taken care of this. It is a product with a dual function: on the one hand, the pigments are carefully selected to work synergistically with the additives requested by the customer, that is we choose the chemical elements that, together, work best; on the other hand, it is an extremely “convenient” product because, being an “all-in-one” solution, those who have to make the final product will not have to force themselves to weigh each ingredient individually (resin, pigments, additives), but will find everything ready, optimizing time and costs.

Phosphore
The coloring masterbatches of the Phosphore line exploit light irradiation to activate their peculiar properties, offering visual effects of great impact. They are divided into two main categories: phosphorescent and fluorescent.
The phosphorescent colors allow a gradual release of the accumulated energy over time: they glow in the dark after receiving light, creating long-lasting and fascinating “glow in the dark” effects. Fluorescent colors for plastics, on the other hand, when they receive light energy, re-emit it with a different and more intense wavelength than the original one, enhancing new colors that stand out vividly to the human eye, making the products immediately visible.
To obtain these unique colors, we use special colors and additives that, in fact, release these particular effects. They can be used purely for aesthetic purposes, but also have more specific functions in terms of safety, such as in outdoor sports applications or road signs, where visibility is essential.

The constant interaction between plastic and organic matter in certain areas can be harmful. A striking example is that of the personal hygiene sector, where plastic films in direct contact with the skin in delicate areas can cause the onset of health complications. The same is true in agriculture, where plants and topsoil are at risk of suffocating or developing mold due to lack of transpiration.
Is it possible to make plastic breathable? The answer is yes, thanks to Over masterbatches. This line, specially designed for filming, contains materials suitable for micro-perforation of the film; the film produced is breathable, as the barrier effect properties typical of plastic are modified, while still guaranteeing a resistant and long-lasting article.
These are, in essence, films that have micro-holes capable of making the film breathable through a precise and very delicate filming process of the material. This function can be extremely useful in contexts where the total insulation given by the plastic layer can be harmful or unwanted.

Cleaner
Our Cleaner is an innovative process cleaner. Initially developed for internal use with the primary purpose of optimizing production, it has been proposed on the market since, with its targeted action, it allows better cleaning of extruders and machinery in general.
This step is essential in all companies that deal with colors, where even the slightest residue trapped in blind spots can leave visible contamination, considerably increasing unproductivity and waste. The purpose of the Cleaner, therefore, is precisely to improve cleaning times, to the advantage of a higher production yield, and to reduce waste, with the consequent reduction of disposal costs.
More specifically, it consists of a resin-based material specially formulated to clean the surfaces of all components (screws, cylinders, hot runners and molds) of injection molding machines that come into contact with molten resins during processing. It is a non-corrosive, non-abrasive and non-toxic cleaning compound in granules, which guarantees safety for equipment and operators. Thanks to the Cleaner, it is possible to drastically reduce cleaning times and the number of production waste.
